Rev. Douglas Cummings - Email

Pastor Doug has been serving the Wayne Presbyterian Church since March 2007. As pastor, Doug uses his high-energy, imagination and creativity to encourage people to know God better. He continually strives to test new ideas in the hopes that those around him will discover Jesus as Lord, grow as a disciple and become deployed into God’s service. 

Pastor Doug is a people person who genuinely cares for those around him and deeply desires to see them grow in faith in Jesus Christ. He earned his Master of Divinity degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and served a New England church for 6 years before accepting the call to New Jersey. Among his various interests, Pastor Doug enjoys watching his alma mater, UCONN, compete for titles in Men’s and Women’s Basketball. More locally, his passions revolve around kayaking, racquetball, cooking, reading and spending time with his family. 

Pastor Doug and his wife are the proud parents of four (and a son who died of a heart defect at 13 months of age).

Rose started working at Wayne Presbyterian in March 2018 as our Administrative Assistant. She brings energy, creativity and organization to the office and is a fun person to be around.
